Hey Friends,
For those of you who don’t know, Locus is the oldest and most respected journal of Fantasy and Science Fiction. They have been promoting authors and stories long before the genre entered the mainstream.
I write here of what Locus means to me.
Locus is entirely indie non-profit, which means it subsists on the goodwill of the community. Throughout the month of May, Locus has been running a fundraiser to fund operations for the next year. In support of their fundraiser, I donated a few items, including: signed copies of my books, 30 min Zoom one on one (chat about whatever catches your fancy), short story critique, character tuckerization (I’ll name a character after you in one of my stories) . The books and critique have been claimed, but you still have a chance to feature in my story, or talk to me on Zoom. What’s more, there are still available items from author luminaries such as C.S.E Cooney, Mary Robinnette Kowal, Tade Thompson, Ken Liu, and many more.
We have only 2 days left in the fundraiser so if you would like to have a character named after you, or perhaps talk to me about and if you want to support a really really good cause, then I encourage you to support Locus.
Until next time,
Tobi
